Moroccan rap heavyweight ElGrandeToto has released his long-awaited project SALGOAT II, a 17-track mixtape that reconnects with the sound and sensibilities that helped cement his status as one of the region’s leading hip-hop artists. The tape features collaborations with Draganov, Najm, and Gello, among others.
Elsewhere, Sudanese artist Hyper returns with ‘3omlat’, alongside veteran rapper TooDope and Cymona. Palestinian rap prodigy MC Abdul launches the rollout for his upcoming debut LP with ‘Wait For Me’, featuring Nai Barghouti, while Dollypran teams up with Bo9al on ‘Baltimore’, a punchy rap cut from his new album Traitement 2.
In Egypt, Abyusif and Arsenik reunite after a year-long feud on ‘The Sting’, an old-school rap cut that channels the energy and competitive spirit of classic diss tracks. Meanwhile, Taffy joins forces with Bashmohannad on the laid-back cut, ‘Big Mood’.
