Egypt's Geeza Records to Launch All-Local ‘Made in Geeza’ Party Sep 24

Egyptian label and party series Geeza Records is introducing a new party concept, ‘Made in Geeza’, putting the focus firmly on local electronic talent and the diverse sounds coming out of Egypt, with its first all-nighter in Cairo on September 24th.

The new series builds on Geeza’s ongoing work around Egypt’s underground electronic scene. It launched in 2024 with a focus on creating intimate, music-led spaces while giving local artists greater opportunities across parties, bookings and releases. Since then, the label and party series has paired homegrown selectors with international names including Sally C, Shanti Celeste, Spray, Soichi Terada and Victor, while also developing its record arm with releases from Egyptian and international producers.

Giving Egyptian DJs and producers room to express themselves musically without being confined by genre, format or expectation, the first edition of 'Made in Geeza' brings an eclectic roster of artists, with Misty, known for his eclectic mix of house and Italo disco, going back-to-back with Hisham Zahran. The bill also features Geeza co-founders Aki and Aroussi, who will take to the decks for a B2B set, while rising selector Youssef Roshdy rounds out the lineup with his warm, nostalgia-tinged take on house, drawing from the sounds of the ’90s and early 2000s.
