Back in January we published a set by Alexandrian duo Marwan Fouad and Mostafa Dawoud who managed to take over their hometown’s scene through their numerous gigs and two album releases on Xndria records. Their groovy and fresh Italo-house sound was immediately catchy and left us wanting more given how Italo hasn’t really found its foothold in the Egyptian scene the same way minimal and lo-fi house did. We invited the duo to record another mix for our 87th Select this week and they came back with a selection of sunny house cuts courtesy of Demuja, Molinaro, Detroit Swindle, Turbojazz, Max Graef and Lorenz Rhode.
