Palestinian sensation Saint Levant will perform at COLORS’ ‘Tones of Paris’ festival on October 26th, along with James Blake, TIF, Amanda Reifer and more.
Tones of Paris is an instalment of COLORS’ new large-scale event project which aims to introduce a spin on the traditional formats of music festivals. Built on a multi-disciplinary concept, Tones’ extended city-wide programs are curated to reflect a vibrant range of cultural interests, featuring workshops, talks and panel discussions, along with listening sessions and live performances. The project’s first iteration took place in New York City on October 11th, featuring live performances from Sudanese artist Mustafa (aka Mustafa the Poet), along with Moses Sumney, Bellah and Naomi Sharon.
TONES of Paris will run from October 23rd to October 27th, with events across the city in partnership with Paris’ Dover Street Market, featuring a screening of ‘Made In France’, a documentary about the late DJ Mehdi, and an exclusive listening session and panel for Rimon’s new album ‘Children Of The Night’, as well as an event celebrating the Afro-Caribbean culture at Le Trabendo, helmed by global electronic acts; Chukwudi’s Jerk & Jollof, and SIXTION.
On October 26th at Le Seine Musicale, Saint Levant will be joined on stage by a roster of established and emerging artists including James Blake, Naïka, The Joy and Amanda Reifer. Meanwhile, on October 27th at Alhambra, TONES of Paris’ lineup features Arab and international rappers and hip-hop artists like TIF, Bawo, Samara Cyn, and Jolagreen23.
