Seera, the Saudi all-women psychedelic rock band, has announced the launch of their debut studio album, ‘Al Mojallad Al Awal’. Known for their genre-bending fusion of Arabic melodies and hypnotic riffs, the band has spent the past two years redefining artistic boundaries in a traditionally conservative society.

The album packs nine tracks that twist and turn through Seera’s signature mix of hypnotic grooves and Arabic psychedelia. It’s got previously released heavy hitters like ‘Alaam El Ahlaam’, ‘Al Fanaa’ and ‘Share3 El Buhturi’, alongside fresh new cuts they’ve been working on between their electrifying live shows across Saudi Arabia.

Bandmates Meeshz, Thing, Nora and Haya call it “a journey from the absurd to the profound” on their Instagram post announcing the release, which feels just right for a band that’s been flipping the script on what Arab rock music can sound like since their debut single, ‘Junoon Almal’, dropped in 2023.
