3ala Mazag: Nour [Curated Playlist]
The Egyptian dream pop artist's playlist features picks from Olivia Dean to PinkPantheress, Wegz and Angham.
In our latest '3ala Mazag' artist-curated playlist, Egyptian dream pop artist Nour shares a selection of what she’s been listening to lately, alongside a few personal staples.
Since breaking through with ‘Wana’, Nour has steadily carved out a space within the region’s alternative scene, shaping a distinct dream-pop sound anchored in introspective songwriting. Last March, she made her debut on COLORS, delivering a stripped-back performance of her soft pop ballad ‘Nesety Nafsek’.
Her playlist is packed with various moods and sounds, featuring Olivia Dean’s neo-soul cut ‘Close Up’, PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson’s ‘Stateside’, as well as Wegz’s ‘Msh Kol Marra’, and even Arabic staples like Angham’s ‘Sebtely Alby’ and Amr Diab’s ‘Ragea’.
