Up-and-coming Lebanese artist Talia Lahoud has landed a major opportunity to showcase her talents on a global stage. The singer-songwriter, who has gained popularity through YouTube and TikTok, will be performing alongside Thai artist Jannine Weigel and Japanese artist Hiroaki Kato at the opening ceremony gala for the 2023 Asian Olympics in Hangzhou, China.

Lahoud will help represent the Arab world with an Arabic verse featured on the official soundtrack for the games. Titled ‘Sending all the Love’, the track will make its live debut during the televised event on September 24th kicking off the international multi-sport competition. Securing a spot on the Olympics soundtrack and performing in front of millions of viewers from across Asia is a major career highlight for the young talent, to say the least.

Originally from a small Lebanese town, Lahoud is bringing Arabic pop to the global stage with her vocals and evocative lyrics written in English, Arabic, and French. Her 2021 cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’ - which added subtle Arabic sonics to the iconic classic - became a regional #1 hit and introduced her unique ability to connect diverse audiences.
