Geeza Records Reveals Lineup for Second 'Made in Geeza' Cairo Party

Following the success of its first edition, Egyptian party series and label Geeza Records is bringing ‘Made in Geeza’ back to Cairo for a second run on October 15th.

Launched as an all-local extension of Geeza’s work within Egypt’s underground electronic scene, ‘Made in Geeza’ puts local talent front and centre, creating space for Cairo-based DJs and producers to explore the breadth of their sound without being boxed into a particular genre or format. The series reflects the city’s increasingly varied electronic landscape, where selectors move fluidly between styles and influences.

The second volume brings together an eclectic roster, including Nour Fahmy, whose sets traverse acid, house, electro and minimal. He is joined by Geeza resident Omarino, whose sonic range stretches from ambient and techno to a particularly refined strain of minimal house, and selector and vinyl digger Ali Youssef, who moves between deep house and electro.
