Shuffle | Sep 24 - Oct 7
This week's playlist features new releases from Afroto, Abyusif, Lella Fadda, Adonis & Taxi404, and more.
On this edition of ‘Shuffle’, our bi-weekly playlist spotlighting new releases from across the MENA region, we’re bringing you fresh collaborations from heavyweights like Afroto & Hamo El Morshedy and Adonis & Taxi404, as well as the latest from regional icons like Abyusif and Lella Fadda.
Egyptian rap pioneer Abyusif turns inward on ‘Mabet7esesh’, picking up his guitar for a grungy, melodic single tackling emotional detachment. Meanwhile, Lella Fadda leans fully into summer pop sonics with her EP ‘LouliPop’, featuring standout track ‘Ma3lesh’ in our selection.
Rap titan Afroto teams up with Hamo El Morshedy on ‘Supreme’ for a high-energy shaabi crossover. On the Lebanese front, indie pop mainstays Adonis collaborate with Franco-Algerian outfit Taxi404 on ‘Kalam El Mlouk’, while rising singer-songwriter Nour Chehab delivers the dreamy, guitar-driven ‘Jaloux’.
The playlist also features Abri & The Everlasting’s ‘Four Walls’, Kazdoura’s ‘Ala Mahlak’, Ino Casablanca’s ‘PA' TOUCH’, Sourani’s ‘El Zaman’, Baher’s ‘Basement Rose’ and Ali Najm & 26 Band’s ‘El Wajan’.
