On this week’s Shreet Cocktail, SceneNoise’s multi-genre playlist highlighting the best new releases across the MENA region, we are spotlighting tracks from a slew of renowned artists like Lella Fadda, 47SOUL and Thoom.

First off, we have the Palestinian-Jordanian outfit 47Soul’s heartfelt ‘Ya Kho’, the first preview single of their forthcoming EP ‘Dualism Pt.1’. Inspired by the haunting story of a 13-year-old girl from Gaza named Amina, the track explores themes of resilience and loss in the shadow of the ongoing genocide committed by Israel in Gaza.

Next up is Lebanese artist Zeynab Marwan, aka Thoom’s ‘Cortisol’, a captivating dance track interweaving discordant and breakneck rhythms of industrial sound bites with hazy ethereal melodies.

Last but not least, there is Egyptian rapper and singer Lella Fadda shining with her soulful vocals on the emotive ballad ‘Adena Aho 3erefna’, which also serves as the outro soundtrack for the acclaimed Egyptian film ‘Meen Yesadak’,

The playlist also features El Kontessa’s dark cinematic remix of Maurice Louca’s ‘Rapture’, along with a fresh tribal-infused groover by 16-year-old Jordanian producer Nasso, as well as Zeina’s cheeky ‘No More Streetivities’ and Yas Reven’s ‘Etoy’ ft. Cairiene producer 3Phaz.
