This time on Rap of The Week, we feature regional trail blazers like Egyptian rapper Batistuta, who made his return to the scene this week with his electrifying shaabi-rap release ‘Serag Mohema’. Also making her return to the regional scene is pioneering Lebanese rapper Malikah, who broke her prolonged hiatus in a collaboration with Eslam Jawaad, Didine Canon 16, and Moudy Al Arabefrom in ARXP cartel’s energetic drill track ‘Dokhan’.
We also heard from Lebanese artist Blu Fiefer, who teamed up with Swedish-Iraqi rapper Nayomi, and Egyptian fan-favourite Perry in a smooth trap-inspired remix of her track ‘Ekhir Hamme’.
Meanwhile, Egyptian rapper/producer duo Badran and Sintax released the outro to their latest collaborative EP ‘Alamein’ with the fast-paced trap release ‘Makook (Outro)’ featuring rising Egyptian rapper Laila Beshara.
