STRND Records, a Beirut-based techno label and imprint, is teaming up with Lebanese NGO and dog shelter Give Me a Paw to save stray dogs across Beirut with the release of their new ‘Animal Kingdom’ album.

Upon seeing a heartbreaking video of a dog in need, Serge Trad - who co-founded STRND Records alongside Cyril Trad - contacted Give Me a Paw asking how he could help protect the animals. From there they worked together in developing an album to raise awareness about the mistreatment of animals and provide positive solutions for a homegrown charity that operates entirely off of donations.

Reaching out to their extended network, STRND has gathered 10 different local and international artists, many of whom are big names in Beirut’s underground scene. With many of them being pet owners themselves, the album includes tracks by As We Said, False Manners, Firas, OHM, Jason Kaakoush, Hrag, AFK, Vermaya, Avation and Veles.

Released exclusively on Bandcamp on August 25th, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of ‘Animal Kingdom' will go directly to Give Me A Paw. STRND Records and Give Me a Paw also dropped an exclusive t-shirt as part of their fund-raising efforts.
