Inside Francis Mercier's Solèy Experience on Egypt's North Coast
The night comes as part of a huge summer lineup by event organiser P+US.
Over the past few years, Afro house has been blowing up far beyond its continent of origin, and Francis Mercier is one of the main key figures behind bringing its sounds to an even vaster audience globally. The New York-born Haitian DJ, producer and label head honcho, has long been reshaping the global house music landscape, not only with his culturally and ethnically rich music that often comprises deep, melodic house with various influences of traditional African, Caribbean, and Middle Eastern textures, but also by carrying on his mission of bringing together sounds and artists from all corners of the world.
He’s been doing so by establishing a community-based party concept called Solèy that aims to champion multiculturalism and global sounds with modern dance floors. Symbolising the positivity, radiance and warmth of music, The experience is revered for its unconventional programme that extends beyond DJ sets, featuring live instruments, and choreographed dance performances.
In 2025, Francis Mercier debuted the Solèy project in Egypt at the Great Pyramids of Giza. After bagging himself a debut HI Ibiza residency earlier this year, Mercier is now bringing the Solèy experience for the the second time to Egypt, but on the North Coast, as part of events giant P + US 2026 summer programme.
Staged at Zahra beach club on the Mediterranean shorelines, Francis Mercier’s Solèy will feature a lineup of international and local talents: DJ Tennis, Ashibah B2B ThatGirllSherryK, and Choujaa B2B Massala.
Tickets are available via TicketEgypt’s official website.
