Egyptian Montreal-based duo In2Deep have a stunning profile, from signing to major labels like Akbal Music, to collaborating with leading downtempo artists as Gab Rhome, YokoO and Pablo Bolivar, who are also signed to their imprint, L’enfant Terrible Records. But it looks like the duo are having a slight shift in their sound, edging towards the world of house and minimal. This was first noticeable in their When We Dip Set, more representative of that sound.
The duo recently released two tracks for free download on Soundcloud, “I Owe You Everything” and “Unknown,” that is a collaboration between them and Thai producer DOTT, whose catalogue includes releases on Little Helpers. “I Owe You Everything” is a summer anthem that borrows elements from the downtempo realm with a house twist; a track that can go both ways, while their collaboration with DOTT is more of a minimal house banger that works better in a club environment.
