Zeyne and Marina Satti’s ‘A’ti’ is a Ghostly Meditation on Emotional A
“I’d been drawn to Marina’s bold and vulnerable vision for a while, so working with her felt aligned from the start,” Zeyne says.
Palestinian-Jordanian artist Zeyne has teamed up with Greek-Sudanese pop star Marina Satti on their new single, ‘A’ti’, a poignant exploration of the tension between emotional attachment and self-love.
Released via MDLBEAST Records and Golden Records - Minos EMI, the track captures the uneasy moments when a dyanmic shifts and once-familiar feelings become difficult to read, touching on the feelings of hesitation, second-guessing, and quiet recalibrations of a dysfunctional relationship.
“I’d been drawn to Marina’s bold and vulnerable vision for a while, so working with her felt aligned from the start,” Zeyne says.
“Collaborating with Zeyne felt like finding a mirror in a different language,” Marina Satti adds. “I have such deep admiration for the way she translates complex emotions into her art.”
Steering clear of clichés, the two artists approach the same emotional terrain from different angles, creating a deeply introspective dialogue. Their soulful vocals float over a minimalist sonic palette, produced by Sacha and LILCHICK, driven by ethereal synths, Middle Eastern-tinged percussion, and modern pop sensibilities.
The accompanying music video, shot in Greece and directed by Ben Cole, mirrors the song's moody themes. Trading glossy aesthetics for cinematic minimalism, the visuals place both artists in natural, atmospheric landscapes, using sharp shadows and isolated framing to emphasize intimacy and distance.
‘A’ti’ marks Zeyne’s first release since her 2025 debut album AWDA, which established her reputation for emotionally detailed songwriting. For Satti, a former Eurovision contestant known for blending contemporary pop with Greek and Balkan traditions, the track expands an increasingly cross-regional catalog.
