Syrian lyricist Bu Kolthoum has finally unveiled his long-awaited new album Shadeed, while Egyptian rapper-producer Lil Baba extends his prolific run with the distorted boom-bap cut, 'Wa7da Wa7da'. Elsewhere, Moroccan rapper Shobee returns with the razor-sharp trap offering 'AI9', and Palestinian artist MC Abdul shares 'Wein Abdul', a new single from his forthcoming album co-written with Chller, whose credits include Kanye West and The Game. Rounding out this week's picks, Cairo-based Sudanese artist Kordofani steps into drill territory on 'Hat-Trick'.
