Klaza Drums Drops ‘2025’ Album Reflecting Sounds of Cairo’s Streets
On ‘2025’, Klaza Drums and Mahraganat grit collide with warped visions of what Egyptian street music could become.

‘2025’ opens in distortion—shaabi sounds, mahraganat vibes and then the Klaza hits. It’s rough, immediate, and unmistakably Egyptian. The album pulls from the sound of street weddings, rooftop parties, and molid processions, using Klaza Drums as its core instrument.
Each track builds on that raw foundation. “ELFARH” is a full-blown wedding anthem, steeped in shaabi energy. “CAGAB” follows with a heavy mahragan groove. “MOGAA” leans into a more danceable rhythm, with the drums leading the tempo. “DWAMA”, produced by Yusef, slows things down—a track that feels like a lost TV drama theme. On “Elmagzob”, the sound shifts again: a mawwaal-inspired piece rooted in Al- Mouled traditions and music.
With ‘2025’, Klaza is a street language turned sonic blueprint.
