K-Laff Makes His Production Debut with Deep House Cut ‘Night Swing’
Released via Saudi label, Electric Dreams, the track sees the Egyptian DJ leaning more into the deeper side of his house sound.
Over the past few years, Jeddah-based Egyptian DJ K-Laff has steadily carved out a place for himself across the club circuits of Cairo and Saudi Arabia. Characterised by groove, texture and a restless sense of experimentation, his sets move fluidly across the spectrum of house music, shifting between deep, acid-laced and funk-driven territories with ease.
After seven years of refining his sound behind the booth, K-Laff is now stepping into production with his debut single, 'Night Swing'. Released via Saudi imprint Electric Dreams, the track leans into the deeper end of his sonic palette, introducing a production style that is warm, percussive and richly atmospheric, while retaining the buoyant groove that has become synonymous with his DJ sets.
Built around a breezy house framework, ‘Night Swing’ opens with a fuzzy, ambient passage before gradually unfolding into a loose, swing-led deep house groove, evoking the lingering energy of an after-hours dancefloor filler.
With ‘Night Swing’, K-Laff joins Electric Dreams’ catalogue that includes regional electronic mainstays such as Omar Fayyad, Zone+, YokoO, and Fulltone.
