Veteran German DJ Sven Väth Brings Legendary Event Series Cocoon Back to Dubai

A legend of both the music and nightlife scenes in his native Germany, Sven Väth, is returning to Dubai on March 13th with his long-running partly series, Cocoon, in tow.

Affectionately referred to as ‘Papa Sven’ by his fans, the trance and techno ace is set to headline the night, which will take place at Soho Garden DXB and feature Berliners, Rampa and &ME.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Väth is nothing short of a legend and is credited with being on the frontline of the evolution of electronic music in Germany and Ibiza. Now something of a multifaceted empire, Cocoon started as an event series in 1996, but is now encompasses a booking agency and record label that can lay claim to launching the careers of DJs such as Loco Dice and Guy Gerber.
