Over the last month, Saudi Arabia has been steadily unveiling the line up for its inaugurating festival, MDL Beast, and implicitly its budding EDM scene. Taking place between the 19th and 21st December, at the Arts Beast district situated just outside of the capital, Riyadh, MDL Beast will be hosting over 70 international, local and regional dance acts spread across five stages, with an expected audience of over 200,000. The scintillating lineup includes the likes of Saudi's first female DJ, Cosmicat, along with sonic powerhouses such as Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Tiesto and R3hab - of whom the latter three have pledged to fuse their signature sounds with Arabian classics.Alongside the range of musical acts, the Arts Beast district will showcase a number of immersive performance acts, visual spectacles and light parades. Furthermore, the festival will feature a culinary showcase consisting of over 60 different types of cuisine from all over the globe, along with headliner Steve Aoki's pop-up pizza stall.
