Syrian rock band Tootard is set to perform live in Cairo for the first time at Cairo Jazz Club 610 on November 6th.

Tootard, made up of brothers Hasan and Rami Nakhleh, is a trailblazing ensemble from the occupied Golan Heights, recognised for their catchy pop hooks and disco vibes that deftly melds Levant-tinted desert blues and melodic psych-rock with influences from SWANA musical traditions.

The band will be joined by Cairo-based Syrian multi-instrumentalist Hadi Birajakli, with an eclectic fusion of progressive rock and Middle Eastern instrumentation. The night will also feature some high-energy Arabic reggae grooves, courtesy of rising Egyptian outfit Meshwar.

Doors open at 8 PM. Tickets are available to purchase via the link in @cairojazzclub610’s Instagram bio.
