SceneNoise and Cairo Jazz Club are proud to present, for the first time in Egypt, Sudanese star Soulja for an electrifying debut headline performance on Saturday, 12th of March. The night will also be graced with performances by Sudanese rapper Walgz and Egyptian rappers Uzu and Swani, with DJ K-Laff opening and closing the night with the finest selection of hip hop and trap hits.

Soulja began his career in 2020 with ‘Marrakesh’, featuring peers O’D and RoTation. Only two years later, the artist has amassed over 300,000 streams on Anghami alone, with over 20,000 listeners across all streaming platforms. The Sudanese rapper is highly respected for his smooth flow, range, and visual persona – his music video for the 2021 single ‘Charleston’ is at over a million views and counting to date.

Joining Soulja is one of the scene’s most exciting acts to watch: Uzu. The Egyptian rapper has been creating a buzz with his latest EPs such as ‘Merci, Uzu.’ and ‘Safqa’, which gained the artist some notoriety with his commanding voice and an impressively complex rhyme scheme.

Adding to the line-up is Sudanese rapper Walgz’ resonant voice and smooth flow to match. Egyptian rapper Swani will add his own flavour to the mix with his unique range and natural Aswani dialect.

The night will open and close with local favourite K-Laff on the decks, serving the crowd with the hottest hip hop, trap, and RnB hits.
