Sunkissed Child Drops Neo-Soul Single ‘Can’t Fight The Feeling’
Skimming the lines of soul, R&B and jazz, Sunkissed Child established a name for herself in the UK’s underground music scene.

London-based Lebanese artist Yasmina aka Sunkissed Child unveils an emotionally-charged neo-soul track ‘Can’t Fight The Feeling’, the first preview single of her forthcoming debut EP.
Skimming the lines of soul, R&B and jazz, Sunkissed Child has established a name for herself in the UK’s underground music scene, carving out her own niche with a rousing fresh sound deeply connected to her roots.
Drawing inspiration from a difficult period in her life, Yasmina maps out her ongoing struggle with mental health and healing. Through introspective lyricism, carried out by her saccharine sweet voice, she reflects on the persistence of her messy and painful healing journey, accepting it as part of the process.
The heavily soul-inflected sound bolstering her warm vocals is paired with a keen dash of pop sensibility and a jazz-tinged groove, summoning that light and radiant energy of Olivia Dean.
