Navan Drops Trilingual Confessional Pop Single 'C'est Toi'
The Canadian-Persian artist gives us a glimpse into his forthcoming full-length album, Kisses on the Moon, which is produced with Grammy-winning collaborators across France, Canada and the US.
A rising voice in the diaspora’s alternative pop scene, Navan has offered a taste of her upcoming album Kisses on the Moon, with new single ‘C’est Toi’.
Since his 2024 debut ‘Mesle Ghabl’, the Canadian-Persian artist has carved a distinctive space with his smooth, trilingual pop sound, amassing over 500,000 TikTok followers and selling out shows in Toronto and Los Angeles. His 2025 single ‘Taste’ has surpassed 1 million streams across platforms.
On ‘C’est Toi’, Navan blends metaphor-rich storytelling with slow-burning pop textures and soulful vocals, capturing the Sisyphean cycle of heartbreak. Sung in French, Farsi, and English, the lyrics frame lost love as both a guiding star and the source of longing, tracing joy, purpose, and the quiet ache of absence.
Kisses on the Moon is fully produced with Grammy-winning collaborators across France, Canada, and the U.S., hinting at an album where intimacy, multilingual expression, and emotional depth take center stage.
