Palestinian-Chilean star Elyanna’s single ‘Ganeni’ has been featured on the official soundtrack for EA Sports FC 25, the latest iteration of the famed football video game series.
Continuing the franchise’s tradition of showcasing international talent across various genres, publishers Electronic Arts revealed that the soundtrack features 117 tracks from a roaster of world-famous artists including Billie Eilish, Charli xcx, Fontaines D.C. and Fred Again.., along with several unreleased tracks by the likes of Coldplay, FKA Twigs and Catfish.
“FC 25 is a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises. The EA Music team has spent nearly a year curating an epic soundtrack that will define the sound of the coming season and elevate the spirit of the game like never before,” Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive and President of Music for Electronic Arts, stated in the announcement.
The game will be the second installment in the EA Sports FC series and the 32nd overall installment of EA Sports’ football simulation games, including the FIFA series. It is currently being developed by EA Sports and is set to be released worldwide on September 27th, with early access for Ultimate Edition holders from September 20th. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Elyanna’s track ‘Ganeni’ is part of her latest debut album ‘Woldeto’, where she applies concession to Western Pop, incorporating elements from jazz and traditional Arab instrumentations like the tabla as she explores the nuances of love and longing.
