A unique destination for music and art since its launch in 2013, the latest edition of Bahrain-born festival, Soundscapes, is heading abroad - to one of the world’s most stunning destinations, no less.

As the name implies, or rather, makes little secret of it, Soundscapes Zazi will take place on the idyllic Tanzanian island that is Zanzibar, between February 16th and 19th.

In looking to bring electronic music to this most gifted location when it comes to natural beauty, the four day-line-up will feature the likes of Britta Arnold, Behrouz, Andrey Pushkarev Cristi Coins, Yokoo ahd Vlad Caia's SIT project, as well Bahraini favourites Zone+ and Hameed. The festival will take place on the beach between the areas of Paje and Jambiani.

This venture comes as the first of its kind for Soundscapes, which, after hosting the likes of Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Barac and more across 30 events, could well now look to more unique locations for upcoming events.
