Select 406: Mixed by Jess
The Egyptian DJ and selector shares with us her set from Poland's Garbicz Festival 2026, a bouncy mix of disco, balearic, italo and house grooves.
On this week’s Select, Egyptian DJ and selector Jess exclusively shares her set from the Juicy Bar stage at Poland’s Garbicz Festival 2026. Warm and hazy at first, the mix gradually loosens into something more euphoric and playful, moving through flashes of disco, Balearic, Italo and house with unexpected turns along the way. Rather than locking into a single groove, Jess keeps the energy shifting, weaving together tracks including Crazy P’s ‘Open for Service’, Vinyl Mode and Moayad’s ‘Etha Habbetik’, Subject Is We’s ‘Aw3’ad’ and Cheb Rizki’s ‘Had Lila F Bladi’.
Jess is one of the fast-rising names in Egypt’s electronic dance scene, traversing dancefloors across the MENA region and the globe. Her recent festival appearances include Germany’s Fusion Festival, Lebanon’s Aegis Festival and Egypt’s Sandbox.
