Shuffle | Feb 26 - March 11
This edition of our bi-weekly multi-genre playlist features standout releases from El Sadat, Souad Massi and Lege-Cy.
The latest episode of our flagship bi-weekly playlist, ‘Shuffle’, is packed with new releases from regional artists across various genres and musical styles, featuring standout cuts from the likes of Hassan Abou Alam, Souad Massi and El Sadat.
Egyptian rapper and singer Lege-Cy joins the Ramadan 2026 festivities with a track for the hit series Ein Sehreya of the same name, while electronic innovator Hassan Abou Alam builds on the sounds of his 2022 EP Msh Mafhoom universe with Insa, a futuristic club project featuring another special collaboration with Ziad Zaza and Ismail Nosrat.
French-Algerian singer-songwriter Souad Massi returns with one of her most politically-charged projects yet, Zagate - a hypnotic blend of afrobeat loops and North African instrumentation, punctuated by the emotive call of Sylvian Barou’s Zurna.
The playlist also features pop standout Lana Lubany with ‘The Currency’, Sada’s haunting ambient-indie fusion ‘Khaleek Shway’, Michael Isaak’s guitar-driven Arabesque folk track ‘Hold Your Keys’, and El Sadat’s mahraganat banger ‘Es7a Lena’.
