No Input, an experimental electronic duo made up of Palestinian artist Karim Atari and Italian producer Boyjane, has debuted their eponymous EP.

Playful, fun and dancefloor-oriented, the four-track EP is a kind of aqueous electro glide, infused with various influences including acid, downtempo and dub techno and breaks, echoing cues from global producers like Drexciya. Each track combines modular synthesis and sample manipulation techniques, crafting sounds that feel at once reminiscent of the classic techno and electro era, yet are fresh and unpredictable in its novel reinterpretations.

The first side of the record, comprising ‘Jt2Ou’ and ‘Contingency’, is more on the high-energy side of the electronic spectrum, featuring 808 grooves and cyborg melodies with a retro-futuristic sound that shows no signs of stopping. Meanwhile, elements of ambient become more pronounced in the latter half of the EP, particularly in the title track ‘No Input’ and ‘Ambient Tracxx’, embellished with fuzzy and melancholic stabs and pads.
