Rising to the global indie scene with his otherworldly hit single 'Habibi' in 2017, 22-year-old Egyptian Belgian singer/songwriter Tamino Amir garnered popularity, awards and international acclaim with his debut full length album Amir that showcased unique, evocative vocal performances, beautifully sullen songwriting and visually captivating videos. Hailing from a musically prestigious namesake, Tamino is the grandson of Egyptian singer and movie star Muharram Fouad who was known as The Voice of The Nile during the Golden Age of Egyptian cinema.Ever since breaking out into the international arena, Tamino has been paving the way for himself and his career equally - Working and touring with the likes of Radiohead's bassist Colin Greenwood, all the while, opening up for Lana Del Rey's Dublin show in 2018 and as of lately performing for the first time in the US with four shows at 2019's SXSW. Tamino has also been making headlines in the fashion world - gracing the pages of Vogue Hommes while appearing alongside international supermodel Gisele Bündchen in Missoni's SS20 campaign, marking him as a man of many talents.
