Select 049: Mixed by Joey

On this week’s Select we have Joey who is resurfacing with yet another surprise for us and all of his listener’s. For our 49th episode he has concocted a brilliant lo-fi mix that heavily digresses from the minimal house sound we’ve come to know and love him for. This wouldn’t be the first time he drops our jaws with diverse new material - almost two months ago he released a mesmerizing Elise Trouw rendition that showed how varied his musical abilities really are. This set is a laid-back, mellow exploration of lo-fi, trip hop and electronica. In other words, it sounds like the perfect soundtrack for drifting facedown on a floatie as you recover from a hectic night out.
