Brian Eno Announces Full Lineup for Palestine Benefit Concert Sep 17

The full lineup for British musician and composer Brian Eno’s Together for Palestine benefit concert, taking place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on September 17th, has officially been confirmed.

One of the largest-scale benefit concerts for Palestine, the show will feature a star-studded roster of global musical icons such as Jamie xx, PinkPantheress, James Blake, Damon Albarn, Bastille, Cat Burns, Greentea Peng, Hot Chip, King Krule, as well as Mabel, Obongjayar, Paloma Faith and more. They will be sharing the stage with Brian Eno himself and a slew of Palestinian musicians, including Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman and Nai Barghouti. The concert will also include one-off contributions from Rina Sawayama and Riz Ahmed, along with performances of new material created specifically for the event.

Art-rock legend Brian Eno will serve as an executive producer for the event alongside production managers Khaled Ziada, founder and director of the London Palestine Film Festival, and Tracey Seaward, the producer behind the 2012 London Olympic opening ceremony, as well as British actor and activist Khaled Abdalla.

The production design of the event is helmed by Olivier and Tony award-winning British stage designer Es Devlin, who is known for designing massive shows for pop icons like Beyonce, The Weekend and Lady Gaga. The show will raise funds for the British charity, Choose Love, with all proceeds directed towards Palestinian-led organisations providing food, commodities and medical supplies for Palestinians in Gaza.

Eno had initially formed part of the lineup back in July, announcing the formation of a syndicate for artists speaking out against the Israeli military atrocities in Gaza and Palestine at large, particularly those who have been subjected to vexatious attacks and campaigns by pro-Israeli advocates. A slew of international artists like Fontaines D.C., Massive Attack, and Kneecap joined the alliance.

Tickets are available on togetherforpalestine.org.
