This week we’re introducing British DJ Neil Edward, whose career kick-started in 2007, guest starring at influential clubs in East London including Low Life, Holic and Shoom. Now that he’s residing in Cairo, he sent us a mix that smoothly blends all of his nostalgic influences drawn from his nights out in London, while maintaining a contemporary sound.
Neil takes us on a tour through house music and its sub genres, giving a history class about house music through his set: from disco to chicago house to New York garage and acid house. The track list includes bangers spanning 32 years of house from the likes of Dionne, Murk, Marquis Hawkes, Fantastic Man and Posthuman.Select 031: Mixed by Neil Edward
