Throwback to when the Libyan rap prodigy WAVE almost caused a mosh pit during her performance of ‘Mabda2’ and ‘Hai Al Andalus’ at the first ‘Women in Music’ event in Cairo.
Co-hosted by SceneNoise, Little Pink Book and Takwene at Yellow Tape Record, Maadi, Cairo’s ‘Women in Music’ brought together some of Egypt’s top female artists and industry professionals in the first-of-its-kind intimate gathering to connect, inspire and celebrate the women shaping the region’s music industry today.
