Akilla - FactThis edition of our bi-weekly ‘Shuffle’ playlist is packed with new releases from a roster of up-and-coming and established artists from across the MENA region, encompassing pop, shaabi, hip-hop and electronic.
On the playlist, we have a leading figure from the Egyptian mahraganat scene, Shobra Elgeneral with ‘Al3lam Al Dawly’, produced by Mostafa Hathot, along with Lebanese pop singer Thoom, who once again shows her penchant for chaos and experimentation with ‘Feral’, as well as Moroccan-born artist Abir with ‘Made 4 U’. The list also features ‘Relax’, which stands out as the first collaboration between Tunisian artist Cosmic and Syrian producer and DJ Noise Diva, along with fresh tunes from Abir, 3yooni and Bou Nasser Touffer, the latter of which has just unveiled a new album titled ‘Limbo’.
