Select 387: Mixed by He/Sham

This week on SceneNoise’s Select mix series, He/Sham, an up-and-coming DJ in Cairo’s ever-growing underground clubbing scene, steps into the spotlight. He takes us on a trippy, intense ride through percussive bass, featuring deconstructed club textures and electro shaabi cuts with hints of psychedelic undertones. The mix folds in some of the region’s most left-field selections, including Hassan Abou Alam’s ‘Te3ebt’ and 3phaz’s remix of 'Etoy’. One moment, it feels like a chaotic left-field rave; the next, it shifts into the depths of an underground club in Bristol.
