Cairo Jazz Club 610’s Electric Thursday rosters have been exponentially growing in both size and significance. Over the past several months alone, they’ve managed to book names like Solee, Einmusik & Jonas Saalbach, Lehar, Elias Doré, Kevin De Vries, Manuel Moreno, Kiasmos, Kellerkind and more.
On Thursday, February 21st, the club will add to its already long list of stellar bookings with two spectacular visiting acts; German melodic deep house duo PHCK and Dutch DJ El Mundo. Both these performers are celebrating the release of their collaborative EP - Babylon on Earthly Records. Accompanying them on the lineup will be Egyptian producer Amr Khaled’s Fulltone, who is set to make a rare appearance, as he rarely performs these days, and especially at clubs.
Classical musician Paul Hoffer and DJ Christopher Kusterer formed PHCK in 2013 and have managed to land releases on a wide variety of respected labels like Chapter 24, Connaisseur and All Day I Dream which also signed Fulltone’s remix of their track Cecilia.
DJ/producer Pim van der Burgt aka El Mundo has been in the game for a over a decade. He’s known to many through his period of collaboration with Satori between 2007 and 2012, during which they released countless productions and shared the decks together. Since then he’s led a successful career with releases on Heinz, 8BIT, Get Physical and more.
Make sure you reserve your spot this Electric Thursday, as this killer lineup is guaranteed to sell out.
