Compton-born rapper Westside Boogie will perform in Riyadh for the first time on October 13th. Signed to Eminem and sharing the same label as singers Summer Walk and 6LACK, Westside Boogie’s performance will be opened with acts by DJay Shaolin and rapper Jeed.

The concert is organised by Off the Record (OTR), a concert series whose goal is to introduce hip hop and RnB to Saudi Arabia through promising regional and international acts. Led by  Riyadh and Dubai-based creative marketing agency HRMNY, Off the Record pushes back against big acts in large concert halls and spaces, offering a fresh take on the music concert experience.

“OTR is our intimate pop-up concert focusing on ‘music discovery’,” Jeed, also known as HRMNY founder Majeed Alsayer, tells SceneNoise. “The goal is to introduce hiphop RnB in an intimate experience with international acts. Limited capacity venues. Real cosy stuff.”

HRMNY’s roster is composed of artists and co-founders like A’Y and Moh Flow who are dedicated to introducing new genres to the region. Their recent partnership deal with Empire Talent, the global talent management firm, will provide HRMNY with opportunities to hugely expand and grow their outreach.
