Scrambled Eggs to Play First Beirut Concert in 12 Years on August 2nd

Lebanese indie post-punk outfit Scrambled Eggs is set to perform in Beirut for the first time in 12 years at the iconic B018 club on August 2nd.

Formed in 1998 after the end of the Lebanese civil war, Scrambled Eggs - composed of Malek Rizkallah on drums and vocals, Charbel Haber on guitar and vocals, and Tony Elieh on bass guitar and vocals - is arguably one of the most influential rock bands in Beirut today. After riding the grunge wave for a while, the group went for a more experimental approach to their music that resulted in a fine mesh of guitars and noises, with a surplus of improvisation, scorching punk nuggets, which brings to mind the likes of Sonic Youth.
