Saudi DJ/Producer Duo Dish Dash Sets New Guinness World Record

Saudi DJ/producer duo Dish Dash have set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘Most People in an Online DJ Mixing Video Relay’. The record-breaking relay brought together 61 DJs from across Saudi Arabia, performing remotely in a continuous eight-hour set that championed the Kingdom’s electronic music scene.
Comprising siblings Hassan and Abbas Ghazzawi, Dish Dash have become pioneers of the regional electronic music scene, helping to place Saudi Arabia’s underground movement on the global dance music map through their energetic tech-house sets and pop-up parties around the world under their label and party series, IN ACT.
Hosted by Dish Dash, the marathon session saw each participant hand over seamlessly to the next, with only 30 seconds permitted between transitions under Guinness World Records regulations. Artists taking part in the relay included BKR, Cosmicat, Haffs, Kriss, RDJ, Gazi and BRQ, all of whom have played an active role in advancing the local underground scene.
The entire relay was powered by the battery of a Lucid Gravity electric SUV through a collaboration with Lucid Motors Saudi Arabia. Rather than relying on conventional venue infrastructure or generators, the vehicle supplied uninterrupted power throughout the eight-hour broadcast, underscoring the project’s sustainability ambitions without detracting from its central focus: the music and the people behind it.
The relay offers a snapshot of the Kingdom’s rapidly expanding electronic music ecosystem and its growing network of artists, collectives and platforms. Recorded in its entirety and accompanied by a behind-the-scenes documentary, the project highlights the collaborative spirit driving the scene forward.
