Saint Levant Announces $5,000 Grants to Support Palestinian Artists

Saint Levant has taken to Instagram to announce the launch of a grant program to support Palestinian musicians with $5,000 seed funding, launched as part of his 2048 Foundation’s initiatives.

Founded by the Palestinian artist in 2023, 2048 Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Palestinian arts and culture through mentorship programs, collaborative projects and funding to help realise creative ideas and amplify Palestinian independent voices.

Titled The Loubani Grants, the initiative aims to offer a space for independent Palestinian artists to collaborate, exchange ideas and build a community that elevates the Palestinian music ecosystem.

The program will run over a 10-month cycle, with 40 selected grantees receiving $5,000 in seed funding to help develop their musical work - from writing and composing to producing - in addition to monthly virtual Fireside Chats with local and international music experts and networking sessions with industry professionals.
