Originating from the heart of London in 2010 with a webcam taped to a wall, the Boiler Room has since grown to become one of the biggest names in global nightlife history. Since its inception, the online music broadcaster and club promoter has hosted over 8000 performances by more than 5000 across 200 cities, filming and broadcasting them on the internet in an effort to connect club culture to the wider world.
The collective has kicked off its “Boiler Room World Tour” series highlighting some of the most revered artists that they’ve championed in the past along with new faces, and they’re taking it back to New York City on July 15th.
The Boiler Room is joining forces with Laylit - a NYC and Montreal-based party collective that puts Middle Eastern and North African music front and centre - for what’s set to be their biggest function in the big apple. They’re bringing a 25-strong line-up featuring international and Arabic performers including Egyptian-American artist Felukah, DJ Haram, 8ulentina, Dorian Electra and Yas Meen Selectress, to name a few.
The event is set to take place at Avant Gardner Complex’s The Brooklyn Mirage, a breathtaking open-air sanctuary surrounded by towering walls lined with evergreen plants and a captivating 200 foot LED wall.
