Konstancy Drops ‘Sunshine’ for Palestine ft. Nadine El Roubi
Konstancy’s bars are raw and confrontational in support of the Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation.

California-based Palestinian rapper Konstancy has recently released a powerful resistance anthem, ‘Sunshine’, featuring Sudanese R&B and hip-hop siren Nadine El Roubi, in support of the Palestinian resistance against Israeli occupation.
Producer Smokaholic’s soulful musical sketches, textured with classic hip-hop drum patterns, anchor the sound of the track, serving as a contrast to Konstancy’s punchy flows and assertive delivery. Konstancy’s bars are raw and confrontational, highlighting moments of defiance and the world’s undeniable complicity in the genocide of Palestinians, with verses like “My people bleedin’ while the world watchin’ from bleachers / so we had to speak up, biting, fighting for our freedom,” as well as “Call it collateral damage / call it ways of a savage, or call a spade, a spade/ it’s genocide with some planning.”
Nadine’s honeyed vocals roll up on the hooks, conversational, and reassuring, akin to a mother comforting her child, offering a hopeful promise of an end to his suffering, and by extension, the ongoing genocide.
