Flipperachi's ‘FA9LA’ Goes Viral After Bollywood Feature

Bahraini rapper, Flipperachi, has gone viral, thanks to his infectious track ‘FA9LA’ providing the theme tune to one of the most talked-about villain entrances in recent Indian cinema: the character Rehman Dakait in Bollywood action-thriller, Dhurandhar.

The clips shows black-clad Khanna stepping out of a vehicle with a casual coolness, with ‘FA9LA’ adding an extra sheen of swagger to the sequence. The track, produced by long-time collaborator, DJ Outlaw, has topped streaming charts in India, especially after another of the film’s actors, Ranveer Singh, shared the clip on Instagram, a post that received almost 18 million views.

Real name is Hussam Aseem, Flipperachi has long been one of the most popular rappers in the Gulf, first emerging over two decades ago. Some of his biggest hits include ‘Ee Laa’, ‘Shino AlKalam Hatha’, ‘Shoofha’ and ‘Nayda’. While ‘FA9LA’ is currently catching the imagination of Indian music fans, it was actually released in 2024, the same year that Flipperachi won the Bahraini Artist of the Year award at the regional Musivv Awards in Abu Dhabi.

His latest release came in May of this year, with the single and video for ‘Doori’, while 2025 also saw him step into the world of film, starring in Bahraini short, Mixtape.
