Cairo's Lazuli to Host All-Day Party 'Dafunk' September 11th
The party will feature a lineup of Egyptian veterans like Hisham Zahran, Aly Goede and Aly B.
Cairo-based party series Lazuli is bringing back its funky house concept ‘DAFUNK’ for an all-day session this September 11th.
Since its inception, Lazuli has carved out a space for Cairo’s rising selectors, championing local talent through a rotating roster of showcases and party concepts, from intimate rooftop sessions to ‘DAFUNK’, ‘Subliminal’, ‘Alive’ and ‘Plan B’.
The upcoming edition of ‘DAFUNK’ will kick off at 2 PM in an open-air garden, with up-and-coming selectors Ali Youssef b2b Youla, Ram and Zeft Funk setting the tone. The party will then move indoors to the Warehouse, where Egyptian heavyweights Hisham Zahran, Aly Goede and Aly B will take over. Besides the music, there will be a wide range of fun day activities, games and local food vendors spread all over the party grounds.
