Tunisian Producer AELI Releases Cinematic Underwater-Themed Score
Water, water everywhere, nor any drop to hear.

Dubai-based, Tunisian producer, AELI, is well-known for his trap and trip-hop productions, but much like us all during the pandemic, is broadening his horizons, releasing a 10-minute ambient soundscape, ‘TAOLF’. The underwater-themed score was produced with the hope that it will “relieve stress and stimulate mindfulness,” AELI writes in the description. “As anxiety and mental health concerns keep growing, we all deserve a mindful pause. This is an invitation to take a few minutes for yourself and allow these sounds to break you free,” he continues.
Although we wouldn’t agree the piece has the level of calming virtues attributed to it, it is certainly transportational and all encompassing, veering elegantly between Disney movie crescendo and intro to an experimental techno set. Enjoy diving in, but maybe not zoning out.
