Tunis-based electronic label, Eddisco, have kicked-off their 2021 release schedule with an upbeat, dancefloor heavy edit of Malik Adouane’s classic piece, ’N’touma’, courtesy of label mainstay Khemir. For those in the know, Adouane is widely regarded as the first artist to blend Raï with the rising influences of disco and house music, having kicked off this musical fusion way back in 1980s New York.

Khemir’s rework maintains the high-energy synth-funk/disco influence of the original mix, while bringing the thumping bass drums and arpeggiators to the forefront for a unique fusion of classic italo disco with the already immeasurably groovy sonic foundation set by Adouane.
