Palestinian Rapper Konstancy Drops Ominous New Track ‘Knock Knock'
Konstancy’s latest release, ‘Knock Knock’, is bass-ridden and broody.

Cyprus-based, Palestinian rapper, Yousef
Qaraeen aka
Konstancy, has just emphasised his presence loudly and unapologetically in
latest his track, ‘Knock Knock’.
Kicking-off with an excerpt from US
sitcom, The Office, that sees the characters engage in a good old
knock-knock joke, the track showcases the rapper’s impeccable flow and features a
low, sharp bass, laced with an ominous tone, which contrasts with the
high-pitched synth keys.

The rapper switches between English and Arabic, touching on ideas of resilience with an aggressive vibe that’s projected through both the beat and lyrics alike. ‘Knock Knock’ also sees the rapper pay homage to his ancestry, while maintaining his individuality and lack of desire to be reduced to a certain image – a sentiment cemented through the line “I am not Youssef.”
