Moroccan rappers Snor, Tagne, and Stormy joined forces for their long awaited collaborative release ‘NASA’, which dropped on September 22nd to a massive wave of hype, racking up one million views on Youtube in the three days since it’s premiere. Produced by fellow Moroccoan Khazzi, ‘NASA’ channels a mellow, spacey vibes through soft guitar arpeggios and reverb-drenched synthesizers in a largely low-key melodic accompaniment to the trio’s soaring auto tuned vocals.

Snor really just dives straight in on his opening verse, confidently affirming his position in the upper stratosphere of Morroco’s rap scene, tastefully melding autotune with travis scott-esque adlibs into a sublime cosmic atmosphere, pushed forwards by his melodic vocal stylings.

Featured artist Tagne’s additions to the chorus, as well as hard-hitting middle verse, are by far the highlights of the track, with his baritone vocal rumble giving the track and moody ethereality.  Stormy’s closing verse, though hitting a higher register than Tagne and shifting the track’s energy down slightly, does tie off the track nicely before listeners are whisked away by one final chorus before the ending.

Overall, ‘NASA’ is a pretty good collaboration from three rap artists seemingly at the top of their game within Morocco’s rap scene. ‘NASA’ is certainly sure to not be the trio’s last collaborative effort, with an upcoming collaborative track ‘FLOUKA’ by Tagne & Snor being teased for release on September 25th.
