Egyptian Beatmaker Yucifer Releases New Track 'Mirage' from Upcoming Album with El Waili
Taken from his upcoming collaborative album with El Waili, Alexandrian producer Yucifer’s new instrumental piece, 'Mirage', hits a unique sonic spot in combining horror-inspired synth work and a frantic 808 beat.

Trap producer and frequent El Waili collaborator, Yucifer, recently dropped a new instrumental track from the duo’s upcoming as-of-yet unnamed debut album.
The video for ‘Mirage’ juxtaposes found footage of World War II, Reagan-era America, and more current shots of the wars gripping the Middle East. A strange combination in theory, but in practice it serves as a fitting accompaniment to Yucifer’s frantic production, which blends chaotic 808 hits with clockwork percussion and moody, horror-inspired synth work. <iframe width="800" height="400" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5r6T1a79vEc" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The release follows Yucifer and El Waili’s recent release, psychedelic shaabi track 'El Abd We El Waili'.
